green The American Warmblood Registry and the NorthAmerican Sportpony Registry are going GREEN!

In an effort to be more environmentally responsible, the AWR and NASPR are working toward operating more “paperless.”  While eliminating paperwork completely might not be possible,  we have already reduced its necessity by requesting that breeding reports be submitted electronically and that most correspondence be done via E-mail and phone.  We now are eliminating the need to mail out a paper newsletter by posting it to our new website:

 www.warmbloodnews.com

Not only will this reduce the amount of paper the registries consume, but the newsletter will now reach a far wider audience.  Previously the newsletter was mailed only to current members, but is now available to anyone with an internet connection.  This multiplies its distribution by millions which is fantastic news for our advertisers.  In addition, we’ll be able to post ads and articles featuring our members’ news and accomplishments immediately rather than waiting for the next paper newsletter publication date.  Lack of space will no longer be an issue.  As newsletters are updated, they will be placed on the Archives page for reference whenever needed.

Help us promote the American Warmblood Registry and the NorthAmerican Sportpony Registry by sending us your news to
info@warmbloodnews.com.  Interested advertisers my also contact us at this E-mail address or call us at 406-734-5499.

 Important News Regarding Registration Eligibility

Our office has recently been inundated with phone calls from owners wondering whether their newly purchased horse or pony is registered with the American Warmblood Registry or NorthAmerican Sportpony registry.  Often these owners have been told by the sellers that the horse or pony is registered with the AWR/NASPR when in fact they are not.  Before you buy, be sure to call our office for confirmation that the horse or pony under consideration is indeed registered.  Some buyers have been unpleasantly surprised to learn that their new horse/pony is NOT actually registered with us.

Another issue that has been cropping up repeatedly is the question of whether or not the newly purchased horse or pony’s offspring are eligible for registration.  Before you breed, be sure to verify that the stallion you are planning to breed to carries a current breeding permit.  Once again, call the office or check our stallion roster at www.americanwarmblood.com or www.northamericansportponies.com for confirmation of a stallion’s status.  Remember when using frozen semen, the stallion must have a current breeding permit for the year the semen is used in order for his offspring to be eligible for registration.

In these difficult economic times, please consider registering with the
American Warmblood Registry.

All sporthorses, imported or domestic, are eligible for registration with us.  Not all foreign and domestic horses registered with every organization are eligible for US and International competition (i.e. Young Horse Championships), but American Warmblood Registry horses definitely are eligible for all levels of competition.  Compared to other registries, our fees are competitive and in many cases significantly less.  Unlike many others, horses registered with us are registered for a lifetime.

Register with us, save and spend your money on competition expenses rather than fees to foreign registries or their excessively expensive US counterparts.  Spend your money with our North American Registry AND SAVE!!
